2011 Best Workplaces στην Πορτογαλία

The Best Workplaces in Portugal List was published, and includes 30 companies.

The ranking’s first position was conquered by Cisco Systems, but within dimension (size) Chep was the winner in the category on “less than 100 employees”; Cisco in the category “from 100 to 250 employees” and finally, Microsoft won the category “more than 250 employees”.

The awards were delivered by the Institute’s partners whom have always contributed to its success in Portugal. As in the previous edition, the Institute highlighted the strong presence (9) national companies on the final ranking. ROFF was the winner, being considered as the Best Workplace within national companies.

Cisco Systems Portugal was the big winner this year, as the Best Workplace in Portugal, followed by Microsoft Portugal, Everis Portugal, ROFF, Maksen, Chep, BMW Portugal, Diageo Portugal, Medtronic Portugal, Grupo CH Consulting, Mars Portugal, Mercedes Benz – Financiamento, Danone Portugal, Siscog, Roche Farmacêutica Química, O Boticário, HUF Portuguesa, Baxter – Médico Farmacêutica,

Johnson’s Wax de Portugal, SAS Institute, Mind Source, Barclay’s Bank, SMAS Oeiras e Amadora, Mercer, Beiersdorf Portuguesa, Teleperformence Portugal (Lisboa - Estefânia), Leadership Business Consulting, E.Value, Grünenthal and Parque Escolar – EPE. These 30 companies, form diverse industries complete the Portuguese Best Workplaces ranking 2011

Great Place to Work Institute also recognized companies that are successful within the level of satisfaction of specific groups of employees. In this sense, Cisco Systems won the “Women” award, Everis Portugal won the “Executives” award and Maksen won the “Younger” award.

Regarding the special award for “Corporate Social Responsibility”, rather than a winner, this year three Honourable Mentions were awarded to Cisco Systems, Microsoft Portugal and Chep. The award for Leadership and Training for Sustainability was attributed to Chep, because of its practices applied to management.
